The Manager of Business Sales is responsible to aggressively implement the sales efforts and acquire voice, data, Internet and video market share in the local commercial market. The performance of continuous local competitive analysis and recognition of changes in market drivers is essential.


The Job Details:


* Generate revenue and subscriber growth through the Commercial sales team that exceeds defined targets

* Responsible for hiring, coaching and developing a professional Commercial sales team that consistently exceeds defined sales targets; responsible for recruiting to maintain budgeted headcount

* Aggressively drive market penetrations by directing the sales operations to properly target territories

* Assure that the quality representation of services, rates and deliverables to all accounts meets company standards

* Build strong sales teams through leadership, motivation, accountability and action

* Develop sales team meetings, events and sales contests; recommending commission structures along with forecasting, reporting and monitoring sales team performance

* Measure results of promotions with tracking procedures identified prior to promotions

* Identify major account opportunities; develop the sales strategy and successful execution of the strategy to sell and grow such opportunities


Who is the right person for this role?


* 3-5 years of industry success in telecommunications services, including local voice, long distance and Internet services, combined with experience supervising and coaching a sales team.

* Monitor the performance of Account Executives, to determine strengths and weaknesses; plan and implement an effective course of action to improve the overall effectiveness of the team

* Consistently meet and exceed revenue goals

* Experience in recruiting, coaching, training, team building and career development skills

* Ability to be a hands-on manager who stays well informed about all activities and issues of the department.

* Show strong management skills, effective tactical planning skills, and problem-solving abilities.

* Proven ability at taking market share from competitors.
